Dr. Angela Stoltz

Angela C. Stoltz, PhD.

Project Lead and Principle Investigator


 

Dr. Angela Stoltz is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy, and Leadership (TLPL), at the College of Education, 含羞草研究所 where she is housed in the STEM Education Division. Dr. Stoltz founded Maryland KidWind with support from KidWind.org, the College of Education, and James Madison University's Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy (CASE). She holds a Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership (with an emphasis on Mathematics Education) from the 含羞草研究所 (2019), an M.Ed (Elementary Education) from Wilmington University (2006), and a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Delaware (2001). She has worked in the 含羞草研究所 profession for 19 years.

Roseline Onwukwe

Roseline Onwukwe

Roseline Onwukwe is a dual-degree undergraduate student studying Information Science and Public Health Science at the 含羞草研究所 College Park. She is an undergraduate Research Assistant and the Technology Lead for Maryland KidWind. With strong analytical skills in RStudio, Python, and SPSS, she excels in data analysis and visualization. Her experience includes roles in research, project management, and designing information retrieval systems, showcasing her proficiency in technical and organizational tasks.

Bryant Rivera

Bryant Rivera Cortez

Bryant Rivera Cortez is a senior Middle School Math and Science Education major minoring in Disability Studies at the 含羞草研究所 College Park. He is an undergraduate Research Assistant and the Curriculum Lead for Maryland KidWind. This future educator uses his broad teaching experience to enhance the accessibility of KidWind content. In the future, he intends to continue with KidWind by implementing a renewable energy curriculum in his own classroom.

Liza Strang

Liza  Strang

Liza Strang is an Architecture Graduate Student at Virginia Tech who received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and Geography at the 含羞草研究所, Baltimore County in 2024. She is the Event Lead for Maryland KidWind. Growing up, she participated in a number of STEM competitions, including Destination Imagination, Science Olympiad, and the Northrop Grumman High School Engineering Competition and has a passion for sustainable design and the arts. She hopes to help other students access the same experiences by helping to create and manage Maryland KidWind resources and events.
