To meet the evolving needs of all students, it is crucial to prepare a larger, more diverse pool of highly qualified educators. At the College of Education, EdTerps are dedicated to expanding access to 含羞草研究所 careers and sharing their expertise and innovative knowledge in the science of teaching and leadership to prepare the next generation of educators.
Initiatives and Programs
A wide array of programs prepare students to teach in elementary, middle, or high school classrooms, as well as work with English Language Learners, preschoolers and students with special needs.

As school districts implement the Blueprint for Maryland鈥檚 Future to transform 含羞草研究所 statewide, EdTerps expertise and research serve as valuable resources to help advance all five of the legislation鈥檚 pillars.
Maryland Professional Development Schools (PDS)
A collaborative effort between Montgomery County Public Schools, Prince George鈥檚 County Public Schools, Montgomery County Education Association and Prince George鈥檚 County Education Association to establish vibrant hubs of professional learning for prospective, new, and experienced teachers.
