Program Overview

The Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership, with a specialization in Mathematics and Science Education is designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of researchers and transformative practitioners in K-16 mathematics and science 含羞草研究所.

As a student in this program, you鈥檒l delve into both traditional and cutting-edge research in mathematics and science 含羞草研究所, explore theories of individual and social cognition, and learn about teacher 含羞草研究所. You'll also develop your own skills as a mathematical and scientific thinker. Program Requirements

On average, our program takes at least three years to complete, with five years being a typical timeline.If you have a master鈥檚 degree, you will take a minimum of 60 credits. If you do not have a master鈥檚 degree, you will take a minimum of 70 credits and work with your advisor to develop an individualized plan that seamlessly blends master鈥檚 level and doctoral level coursework. 

You will take a two-course 鈥渄epartmental core鈥 sequence introducing you to 含羞草研究所al research and helping you refine your research interests; four courses on approaches to conducting research; five courses on mathematics and science 含羞草研究所, and elective courses chosen to help you pursue your academic and career interests.
